York, Maine- Arthur J. Miner, 82, of 161 York St., formerly of Lowell, MA, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017. He was born January 19, 1935 in Penacook, NH a son of the late Raymond T. and Albeina E. (Donzey) Miner. He served in the Army National Guard for 33years. He worked in the Maintenance Dept. for Andover Medical and also for United Stationers before retiring. He was the owner of AJ's Lunch in Lowell, MA in the early 70's. He was a member of the American Legion, the Knights of Columbus and The Retired Enlisted Association for Veterans. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and playing Santa Claus for his family and local organizations. He leaves his wife of 43 yrs, Joyce M. (Lannon) Miner; a son Mark E. Dupell of Chelmsford, MA; 3 daughters, Laurie A. Regan of Loudon, NH, Robin E. Dupell of Lowell, MA and Tracey J. Grimshaw and her husband Mark of Epping, NH; 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
A period of visitation for family and friends will take place from 11am to 12:30 pm on Friday, November 17th in the Lucas & Eaton Funeral Home, 91 Long Sands Rd., York, Maine with a graveside service to follow at 1pm in the First Parish Cemetery, York, Maine.
