Christopher D. Ziobrowski

July 8, 1990 ~ October 7, 2017 (age 27) 27 Years Old

York, Maine-Christopher David Ziobrowski, 27, took his own life on October 7, 2017. Christopher was kind, loyal, creative, and impossibly generous. Christopher worked at the Shipyard in Kittery as a machinist. Christopher loved to create and found his passion for wood and metalworking at the Makerspace in Portsmouth, where he became so knowledgeable and beloved that he began teaching classes. As a result of his passion, he co-founded Lost Woods Turning Co. with a good friend, and his creativity blossomed further. He spent hours effortlessly creating gorgeous pieces and making gifts for those he loved most. Christopher also co-founded Casco Bay Gentleman’s Derby. The first on the seacoast to allow men to participate. He adored hiking and found peace in the quiet and simplicity. Christopher loved with his whole heart he had a smile that lit and warmed any room he walked into. He was an incredible Uncle, who would’ve given his niece and nephew the world. He was quick to help and gave with everything he had. He is survived by his loving parents Walter and Cindy Ziobrowski, his sister Amy and her boyfriend Josh, his brother Robert and his wife Kailyn, his niece Brielle, and nephew Cedric. Please omit flowers. We ask that if you enjoy hiking and nature you consider making a donation to your favorite mountain. Donations can also be made to Bladder Exstrophy via BladderExstrophy.com, or to Lost Woods, Jeff Lukach c/o Port City Makerspace in Portsmouth.
