Dakota W. Carter

York, Maine- Dakota W. Carter, 10, of York, ME, passed away peacefully Thursday, February 15, 2018 with his family by his side at Boston Children's Hospital. He was born on November 24, 2007. A son of Charles W. and Shannon H. (Prior) and brother of Jordan E. Carter. Besides his parents and brother he leaves his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He attended the Morrison Center in Wells, Maine. He loved the color green, the beach, music and watching the Celtics and Patriots win. His contagious smile and sky blue eyes will be in our hearts forever.

Funeral services will be held at Lucas & Eaton Funeral Home for family and close friends. The family welcomes the public to join a Celebration of Life at 1pm on Wednesday, Feb., 21st at Fosters Clambake in York. The family asks that everyone dress casual and wear green.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Dakotas Ride fund at Kennebunk Savings Bank for a memorial bench.
