Peter F. Schelfhaudt

Kittery, Maine- Peter F. Schelfhaudt, 84  formerly of Cape Neddick, Maine, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2017. Born April 2, 1933 in Chelsea, MA. Son of the late Peter P. and Frances (Tibbetts) Schelfhaudt. Peter served in the Army National Guard. He retired from Exxon Corporation after 31 years of service. Through the years  he spent much of his free time in York, Maine where the family still calls home. After retirement Peter volunteered at the Nubble Lighthouse for many years and enjoyed spending time on the ocean, sailing, fishing and skiing.  He leaves his wife of 63 yrs, Christina (McGrath) Schelfhaudt; three sons, Peter, James and Mark, three daughters, Annemarie, Nancy and Kathleen, 15 grand and 4 great grand children also sisters Barbara and Donna and their families.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Monday, November 27th in St. Christopher's Church, 4 Barrell Lane, York, Maine. Calling hours will be held from 5 to 8 pm on Sunday, in the Lucas & Eaton Funeral Home, 91 Long Sands Rd., York, Maine.
