York, Maine- Richard Sanders Sr., 67, of Leavitt Farm Lane, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2017. He was born July 20, 1949 in Brooklyn, NY a son of the late Richard A. Sanders and Gloria Falcon. He had served in the United States Coast Guard during Vietnam. He worked for Energy Sciences as a Marketing & Sales Manager, and enjoyed woodworking, traveling, and living life to the fullest. He will be remembered as a kind man and loving husband. He leaves his wife Margaret “Peggy” M. Sanders; two sons, Richard Sanders Jr. of San Mateo, CA and Jeffrey M. Sanders of Newmarket, NH; two brothers, Randy Sanders and his wife Laura of Florida and Ronald Sanders and his wife Donna of Massachusetts.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Thursday, June 8th in St. Christopher Church,
4 Barrell Lane, York, Maine. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in lieu of flowers.
