Cape Neddick, Maine-Tove Oian Webber, 69, passed away on Saturday, May 6th 2017 peacefully at her home surrounded by loved ones after a long and courageous battle with respiratory issues.  Tove was born on December 18th, 1947 to the late Helga and Morten Oian in Oslo, Norway.  At the age of eight her family moved to the United States and lived for several years in New York State.  Her family frequently moved around the east coast as she eventually graduated from Snow Hill High School in Snow Hill, Maryland.  Tove later obtained her Associates Degree from Macintosh College in Dover, NH.

Tove married the love of her life Robert "Bob" Webber of York, ME on September 6, 1969.  She was a devoted wife and mother who selflessly provided a lifetime of love and care.  Tove was an avid sports fan and enjoyed attending and/or watching sporting events with her loving sons and husband. She was a longtime President of the York High School Athletic Boosters where she tirelessly supported the achievements of York, Maine’s student-athletes.  Tove also served several years as the Superintendent of Sunday School at the Union Congregational Church in York Beach, ME.  She also enjoyed camping in the summers, as she would jump at the chance for an adventure.  Grammie T (as she was known to her grandkids) always had a stockpile of arts, crafts, games and toys on hand for when her grandchildren came to visit.  Her life was dedicated to her family and she gave selflessly to all who had the opportunity to know her.

She is survived by her loving husband Bob of 47 years, her two sons and their families, Jason, Michelle, Grace and Logan Webber of Cape Neddick and Justin, Meghan, Madeline and Landon Webber of Warner, NH; her sister Kari Fernald of Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, FL and brother Mike and sister-in-law Janis Oian of Rye, NH as well as her many loving nieces, nephews and friends.   She was predeceased  a sister, Brit Dean.
