Alan H. Godfrey

York, Maine- Alan H. Godfrey, 88, of Bluestone Lane, formerly of Needham and Mashpee, MA passed away Wednesday,  September 12, 2018. He was born December 31, 1929 in Needham, MA a son of the late Frank and Gertrude (Galvin) Godfrey. He was a graduate of Needham High School, Lawrence Academy and Columbia University.  He was a 2nd Lt. in the Army during the Korean War.  He worked for Texaco for 36 years before retiring. He leaves his wife of 30 years Regina W. (Leahy) Godfrey; a daughter Amy Graves and her husband Andrew and their children Drew and Jack of Hamilton, VA; a sister Lois Duffy of Needham, MA; 5 step-children and their families; several nieces and nephews.

A period of visitation will take place from 12-1pm on Friday, September 21st in the Lucas & Eaton Funeral Home, 91 Long Sands Rd., York, Maine with a funeral service to begin at 1pm.  Burial with Military Honors will follow in the First Parish Cemetery.
