Ogunquit, Maine - Betty J. Staples, 92, of Riverside Lane, passed away Sunday, May 20th, 2018 at Sentry Hill. She was born May 30, 1926, in Bethlehem, PA a daughter of the late Granville and Janice (Hepplewhite) Phelps. She was predeceased by her husband Harold E. Staples in 2008.

Betty was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing cards later in life. She was an active member of the Ogunquit Baptist Church and will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother who's family was her everything.

She leaves her two sons Michael B. Staples and his wife Kathryn Acheson and Corey S. Staples and his wife Robin all of Ogunquit, ME; 2 grandchildren Amanda Staples and Heather Field and 2 great grandchildren Cameron and Alex.

Funeral Services will be held privately in Ocean View Cemetery, Wells, Maine. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ogunquit Baptist Church, PO Box 874, Ogunquit, ME 03907
