Clive G. Dyson (84) of York, Maine and formally of Auburndale, Mass passed away Saturday November 17, 2018 surrounded by his family at the Sentry Hill Assisted living facility after a long period of declining health. Clive was born in Melbourne, Australia. The son of the late Kathleen (Byers) and Gerald T. Dyson, he was raised and educated in Melbourne. He is pre-deceased by his only sibling Pamala Francis and his nephew Robert Francis. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Elizabeth (Annese) Dyson and his children Jamie and Kesha Dyson, Joel and Monique Dyson, his nephew Christopher Francis in Australia, and four grandchildren: Tori Dyson, Jordan Dyson, Brayden Dyson and Logan Dyson. In addition he leaves his in-laws: Jane and Bill Adelson, Priscilla and Joe Brotherton, and Kenneth Annese. Clive will always be remembered for his illustrious diving career. An Australian Champion winning his first title at the age of 12. He later became a leading contender for the Olympic crown and was one of the very few divers that could execute a triple jack-knife.
