David P. Foggarty

York Beach, Maine-David Paul Foggarty, 56 passed away on  November 22, 2017 at the Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH from melanoma brain cancer.  He was born on February 14, 1961 in Chicago, IL.  David grew up in Woburn, MA and graduated from Woburn High School class of 1979.  He worked at the Raytheon Company for over 25 years and BAE Company, retiring in 2011 as a Security Manager.

David married Patrice in 1989 in Medford, MA, they were happily married for 28 years. David was a devoted father to Jessica and Cara. He enjoyed watching Jessica on the soccer field and Cara on the tennis court. He loved watching all New England sports, however his favorite sport to watch was his beloved Boston Bruins.  He enjoyed sitting on the back porch watching the birds feed on his bird feeder and the deer’s cutting through the back yard. He also enjoyed cooking and watching old movies.  A special thank you to Wentworth-Douglass Hospital and Seacoast Cancer Center for all their love and support.

David is survived by his wife Patrice H. (Hill) Foggarty;  daughters Jessica M. Foggarty and Cara P. Foggarty; many nieces and nephews. Also his long time childhood friends Brian Maguire, David Nelson and David Santos with whom he loved dearly. He was predeceased by his mother Marie T. Foggarty.

A funeral Mass will be Celebrated at 11am on Wednesday, November 29th in St. Christopher's Church, 4 Barrell Lane, York, Maine. Calling Hours will be held from 5 to 8 pm on Tuesday in the Lucas & Eaton Funeral Home, 91 Long Sands Rd., York, Maine. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
