Evelyn A. (Bertini) Penney

Evelyn A. Penney of Moody Beach, ME and Cocoa Beach, FL died peacefully at Seal Rock Healthcare on July 28, 2019 surrounded by her family.

She was born in Everett, MA on August 3, 1925, the oldest child of George E. and Doris M. (Jodoin) Bertini.  She was a graduate of Everett High School. 

Evelyn loved cooking, baking, hosting and spending time with family and friends and will be missed by many.  She was a devoted wife, mother and  grandmother. She is survived by her son William C. Penney, Jr. of Cocoa Beach, FL, and Lyman, ME, grandson Scott Iritano and his wife Carole of York, ME, grandson Matthew Penney of North Reading, MA, grandson Gregory Penney and his wife Larissa of North Andover, MA, grandson Geoffrey Penney and his wife Barbara of Portland, ME and daughter-in-law Debra Penney of Atkinson, NH.  She is also survived by loving great grandchildren Ryan Iritano, Jaina, Beca, and Oliver Penney. 

She was predeceased by her husband of 71 Years William C. Penney, her mother and father, daughter Candice McGill, sister Doris Lewis and brother George E. Bertini, Jr. as well as many nieces and nephews. 

The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses, and staff associated with Seal Rock Healthcare, Beacon Hospice and Webhannet Internal Medicine for the excellent care and kindness provided during this difficult time.
