Herbert J. "Hezzy" Hanna

York, Maine - Herbert J. "Hezzy" Hanna, 95, formally of Allston and Quincy MA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 5, 2018.   He was born December 10, 1922 in Boston, MA a son of the late Herbert J. and Bertha (Kramer) Hanna.  

He leaves his wife of 29 years Barbara E. (Leavens) Hanna; a brother James Hanna; 3 sisters, Alyce Ortiz, Leslie Conti, and Betty Ramos; 8 step-children Karen, Bill, Mark, Joanne, Janine, Peter, Sherrill, Deborah and their families; his nephews and nieces who he had a special relationship with as Uncle “Hezzy” the Long family Paula, Bobby, Brian, Tracey, Andrea, Chris, Jeff, Joanie and their families, and many more nieces and nephews throughout the family.

He had served in the United States Air Force. He retired to York, ME after many years working for PPG Industries.  

A time of visitation will be held Friday, April 13th from 10-11:30 am in the Lucas & Eaton Funeral Home, 91 Long Sands Road, York, Maine with a Funeral Mass to follow at Noon in St. Christopher's Church, 4 Barrell Lane, York, ME. Visit www.lucaseatonfuneralhome.com
