Joseph Thomas Sullivan January 31, 1932- March 8, 2019
Joseph “Joe” Thomas Sullivan age 87 died on Friday March 8th at York Hospital. He was born on January 31, 1932 to Catherine Hazel Sullivan and Joseph Thomas Sullivan. Joseph is survived by his daughter, Maura Sullivan Reed, his sisters Maureen Sullivan Drapeau, Carol Sullivan Davis and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife of 67 years, Theresa Marie Sullivan, his brothers Robert and Mark Sullivan, and his son, Mark Thomas Sullivan. 
Joe joined the Marines when he was 19 years old, served proudly during the Korean War, and was awarded the Purple Heart. He worked as a manager for American District Telegraph in Worcester, Massachusetts for 40 years. He loved his wife, his children, and his family. He was a voracious reader; loved painting seascapes; and enjoyed repairing cars, small appliances, but his favorite was repairing watches and clocks. He was the proud grandfather to Anthony, Joshua, and Lily Reed and great grandfather to Owen and Luke Reed. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
