Joseph V. Macchia Jr. Obituary

North Berwick, Maine-Joseph V. Macchia Jr., 58 of Diamond Hill Rd., passed away Saturday, September 21st, 2019. He  was born November 17, 1960 in New Hyde Park, NY a son of Joseph V. Macchia and the late Margaret M. (Cadovius) Macchia.  Prior to living in Maine, he and his family resided in Southold, NY for 20 years.

He worked as a Oil Technician, installer and salesman for 40 years in the HVAC industry.

He will be remembered for his infectious sense of humor, his dedication to his family, friends co-workers and career, and for his overwhelmingly positive outlook on life. 

Besides his father Joseph V. Macchia of New Hyde Park, NY, he leaves his wife  Susan J. (Schmidt) Macchia; a daughter Nicole A. Macchia of Biddeford, ME; a granddaughter Kristin Sage Edgerly whom he adored; a brother John Macchia of Chester, NY and  a sister Michele Manes, mother-in-law, Ella Schmidt of Southold, NY; sister and brother and-in-law Debbie and John Boehler, a nephew, John Boehler, nieces Kelly and Casey and several cousins aunts and uncles who were very dear to him.

 

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, September 24th at 5:30pm in the Eliot Baptist Church, 912 Dow Hwy., Eliot, Maine.
