Patricia Whalen Obituary
York, Maine- Patricia I. Whalen, 80, of 117 Long Sands Rd., passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018. She was born March 7, 1937 in Woonsocket, RI, a daughter of the late Joseph T. and Mildred (Marrah) Whalen. She had worked at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for many years before retiring. She was a member of St. Christopher's Church, the York Senior Center, and the John F. Hill Grange Hall in Eliot, ME. She enjoyed spending time with friends, knitting and reading.
Her brother Robert J. Whalen predeceased her in 2015. She leaves a sister-in-law, Rose Whalen and many friends.
A funeral service will take place at 11am on Friday, February 2nd in the Lucas & Eaton Funeral Home, 91 Long Sands Rd., York, Maine. Burial will be private in Calvary Cemetery, Portsmouth, NH. Memorial contributions may be made to the York Senior Center. Visit www.lucaseatonfuneralhome.com
