Remembering a quiet man and his dog walking on Murray Hill Rd. and sitting, reflecting, at the table at the boat launch. Pure devotion.

Whenever you saw Bob Lord's name on the sign-in sheet at Delta, you knew it was going to be a great trip. I flew with him many times when he was a co-pilot on B-727's and I was a new flight engineer. He was a superb pilot and a human being of depth, substance and sense of humor. His wry smile would always bracket a story or a humorous anecdote. He also had a depth of knowledge and a great empathy for others. Bob accompanied me to the Diamond District in New York City on a layover and helped me select the diamond for my fiancé - she still wears it 36 years later. Bob will me missed, but never forgotten.

Thank you, Dave. Bob always enjoyed with you and respected you for always having the pilots backs as chief pilot. I can just picture the two of you at the counter in the NY diamond store. Helping you make the perfect choice was one of his proudest moments . Franny

My heart reaches out to you and your family. I will always miss talking shop with Bob and hearing about what new wood working tools he had bought.

Dear Franny & Family: We will always fondly remember Bob as an extraordinarily kind soul. He had an amazing zest for each moment with a mischievous twinkle in his eye. Ever on the hunt for a good deal. He knew he found the best one in his family. May peace descend on you all. Jon & Christine Wilder

Franny and family our hearts are with you. Bob was a remarkable man for whom we instantly felt affection. We are grateful for the short while we spent with him in E Boothbay and send healing thoughts your way in this time.
