Cape Neddick, Maine – Robert E. Richard, 77 of Ossipee Rd., passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2018 in the Dover Center for Health & Rehabilitation. President of Pilot Construction Inc. in Portsmouth since 1992, Bob was a gifted and accomplished businessowner, and a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was born October 9, 1940 in Lebanon, NH, a son of the late Edgar J. and Marie Blanche (Boulanger) Richard. He leaves his wife of 25 yrs, Carole Auger-Richard; 3 sons, William S. Richard and his wife Karen of Rye, NH, Brian G. Richard of Windsor NH and Nathan J. Richard of Cape Neddick, ME; a daughter Kimberly L. Howe of Puimoisson, France and her husband Olav Vines; a step-son David Gagné and his wife Tsugiko of Hawaii; two sisters, Lucille Gagné of Manchester, NH and Carmen Jenner of Oakville, CT; 7 grandchildren, Shaunna, Kristina, Cynthia, Austin, Daniel, Noah and Mia; a son Robert E. Richard Jr. predeceased him.

Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7pm on Wednesday, June 27th and from 10am to 12pm on Thursday, June 28th with a prayer service to be held at 11:30am in the Lucas & Eaton Funeral Home, 91 Long Sands Rd., York, Maine.
