Susan C. (White) McKay

Cape Neddick, Maine-Susan C. McKay, 62, of 29 Josiah Norton Rd., passed away Friday, April 20th, 2018 at home. She was born October 10, 1955 in Warwick, Virginia, but was raised in Kittery, ME. She was the daughter of the late Clifford C. and Rita L. (Roy) White. She leaves her husband of 42yrs, Stephen A. McKay; a daughter Jennifer L. McKay and her husband Jonathan Fiely of York, ME; a son Benjamin A. McKay and his wife Amanda of Eliot, ME; 2 brothers, Donald White and his wife Donna of York, ME and Gary White and his wife Linda of Eliot, ME; a granddaughter Kendall Susan McKay and 2 step-grandchildren, Isabelle and Wyatt Young. A brother Paul R. White predeceased her.

Susan worked at York Hospital as a nurse for over 40 years prior to her retirement. She loved gardening, braiding rugs, restoring old furniture, and crafting… a life dedicated to healing and loving, finding the best in all things. Her love, boundless, her impact immeasurable, her loss felt by all who knew her. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at the View at Pepperrell Cove, 88 Pepperrell Cove Rd., Kittery Point , Maine Thursday, May 24th from 4 to 7 pm.
