Walter “Chuck” C. Kilb passed away on July 24, 2018 at the York Hospital, York, Maine. He was born on October 31, 1949 in Nyack, New York. He spent his childhood in Pearl River, NY. Chuck was the son of Walter A. Kilb and MaryJane Kilb both originally from Pearl River, NY. Chuck was drafted after completing two years of college and served two tours in Vietnam. When he returned home he had a successful career as a chef working in multiple restaurants in both New York and Maine. His latest success was the Shore Road Restaurant and Market in York, Maine, with his business partner and great friend Jason Johnson. Chuck was predeased by his loving wife of 31 years, Sara Crie Kilb and both of his parents. He is survived by his sisters, Theresa Cooper of Lakeland, FL and Andrea Sciarinno of Goshen, NY, along with his step mother Agnes Kilb and step sister Fran Galu both of Highland Falls, NY, step granddaughter Amanda Crie of Hudson, NH. He also leaves behind his nieces and nephews in New York and Florida. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 10 a.m. at the Ridgewood Cemetery, 177 Salem St, North Andover, MA. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in memory of Walter C. Kilb. convenience of the family.
