Amy Elizabeth Knowles

YORK - Amy Elizabeth Knowles passed away on April 17, 2026, in Redwood City, CA. She was born on October 18, 1973, in Chelmsford, MA.  Amy is survived by her father, Robert Knowles, and stepmother, Cynthia Knowles, of York, ME; her mother, Patricia Bergstrom, of Salem, MA; her brother, Adam Knowles, of San Francisco, CA; her stepbrother, James Bridges, of Oceanside, CA; her stepsister, Alyson Kerrissey, of Leicester, MA; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Amy received a Masters Degree in Psychology from Brandeis University. She served as a Director of Family Resources at a Community Action Center for many years. She was also owner/operator of her company, Harmony at Home.  She was an exceptionally bright woman, always ready to engage in lively discussions and debates.  She was known for her kindness and generosity. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Amy will be laid to rest at a private service at the First Parish Cemetery in York.
