Ann Kingsley (Linnehan) McDade went home to God on Monday, July 4th, 2022. She was born Thanksgiving day, November 28th, 1935, in Lowell, Massachusetts.
She was the daughter of the late Henry Martin Linnehan and Mae Slavin (Webster) Linnehan. Ann resided in York, ME and was formerly of Warwick, RI, Andover, MA and Hampton, NH.
She graduated from St. Margaret’s Grammar School and Lowell High School in 1953, where she was a girl officer and from Merrimack College in 1957.
Beloved mother, grandmother and with unwavering faith, Ann lived her life for the benefit of others. She was the matriarch of the family and could recall any family detail. Her beautiful spirit and mind will be missed.
She is survived by her son Kevin Hayes McDade and wife Ann (Gudger) and their children, Ryan Patrick McDade and wife Heidi (Small) and Megan Elizabeth (McDade) Schofield and husband Harrison West Schofield. Her son William Webster McDade and his sons Finn (Edward) Linnehan McDade and Hayes Drew McDade. Son Bryan Richard McDade and wife Lisa (Wells) and their children Kellie Brianne McDade and Michael Patrick McDade and son Michael Linnehan McDade. Nephew Richard Michael Linnehan, DVM and niece Colleen Linnehan Duffy and her husband Michael Patrick Duffy. She was the sister of the late Richard Henry Linnehan.
Her family were her greatest treasures. She was a loving mother, wonderful Nanie and a good friend to all who knew her.
She was an active member of St. Christopher Catholic Church in York, Maine.
Visiting hours will be held at Lucas & Eaton Funeral Home, 91 Long Sands Rd., in York, Maine, on Sunday, July 10th from 2:00-4:00pm. A funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St. Christopher’s Church, 4 Barrell Lane, York, Maine at 11am on Monday, July 11th. Reception immediately to follow at St. Christopher’s Parish Hall. Burial will be private in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Lowell, MA.
