Carol B. Lovell Obituary

Carol B. Lovell peacefully departed this world on July 3, 2026, at St. Ann’s
Rehabilitation Center in Dover, New Hampshire, at the age of 93. Born June 30, 1933,
in Rochester, New York, Carol was a beacon of love and kindness, whose life was a
testament to dedication, family, and faith.

The daughter of Vincent and Martha Barker, Carol grew up with a strong sense of
community and compassion, values she carried with her throughout her life. She was
predeceased by her beloved husband, Geoffrey E. Lovell, with whom she shared 54
beautiful years of marriage. Their union was a partnership grounded in love, mutual
respect, and a shared commitment to their faith community. Together, they dedicated
countless hours to the Catholic Church and the Worldwide Marriage Encounter, leaving
a legacy of support and inspiration for countless couples.

Carol was also predeceased by her sister, Jeanne Missell, with whom she shared many
cherished childhood memories. Her family was her pride and joy, and she leaves behind
a legacy of love in her surviving children: Thomas (Sheryl) Lovell, Laurie Waniak
(partner Christopher Donnell), and Michael (Charlene) Lovell. Her spirit and warmth
continue to shine through her grandchildren, Megan and Lily Lovell, Owen (Emily
Sturgeon) and Ryan Lovell, and her great-granddaughter, Belladonna Lovell, who
brought her immense joy in her later years.

Carol's life was enriched by her hobbies and interests, which she pursued with passion
and enthusiasm. She had a talent for crocheting and knitting, creating beautiful pieces
that warmed the hearts and homes of her family and friends. Carol also cherished her
time spent playing Mahjong and was a fixture at her bridge outings with friends in
Maine, where laughter and camaraderie were always in abundance.
