Catherine Joan (Lynch) Morin

Catherine “Joan” Morin died on May 16, 2020 in Maine. She was 97.

Joan was born on July 27, 1922 in England to her parents, Richard and May Lynch. She came to the United States in 1924. She graduated from the Beverly High school in Massachusetts. She married William Arthur Morin Jr in 1941. They lived in Danvers, MA, until 2002 when William passed away and Joan moved to their cottage in Limerick, ME, and in 2017 to Berwick Estates in South Berwick, Maine. She worked for many years in Peabody, MA, at Morin’s Market helping her husband. She dedicated her life to her family that she loved dearly. She raised three sons, had 10 grandchildren, 11 greatgrandchildren.

Joan is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, David R Morin and Natalia Morin, Glen A Morin and Cherie Morin, Charlene Morin; her sister Madeline McAskill, her brother Earl Lynch; grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband William A Morin Jr; her sisters Evelyn Andrews, Mary Callahan, Mable Neary; her brothers Richard Lynch, Edward “Mickey” Lynch, John Lynch, her son William A Morin III.

 A graveside ceremony will take place at a time to be announced at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Beverly, MA.
