Diana (Appleby) Evans

The family of Diana A. Evans is sad to announce her death on May 8, 2023. She died at her home in Cape Neddick, Maine after a brief illness surrounded by loved ones.

Diana grew up in Skowhegan, Maine and attended Gould Academy followed by Tufts University. She started her career working as a dental hygienist before marrying and becoming a homemaker. She raised two wonderful and amazingly attractive children while also helping run the family restaurant during the summer months. Later in life she split her time between Maine and Florida with her husband. 

She is predeceased by her husband John, and survived by her son Jason and his wife, April, their children, Tyler and Jillian of Ogunquit, Maine, and her daughter, Susan Canney, and granddaughter Morgan Canney of Braintree, Massachusetts. They all share her quirky sense of humor and appreciation of a well-played practical joke.
