Dorothy Main Hanson Obituary
Dorothy M. Hanson, 94 passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021.
She was born November 14, 1926 in York, Maine a daughter of the late Clifton G. and Winifred (Donnell) Stone.
Dorothy is survived by three sons, David W. Main of Portsmouth, NH, Ronald L. Main and his wife Dianne of Farmington, NH and Alan R. Main Sr. and his wife Carol of Berwick, ME; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her first husband Leon W. Main Jr., her second husband Alvin K. Hanson, her companion Charlie Battis, a daughter Sharon L. Butler, 2 brothers, George and Kenneth Stone and a sister Theresa O'Brien.
Dorothy will be remembered for playing card games, especially Solitaire, and for her love of her grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, June 29th in the First Parish Cemetery, York, Maine.
