Edward B. Roy

It is with profound sadness that we announce Edward “Eddie” Brian Roy, age 74, passed away suddenly at his home in York, ME on February 13, 2025. Born on September 3, 1950 in Winchester, MA to Lillian and Roland Roy. He leaves behind his wife Catherine, his loving daughter Emily and her husband Michael, his beloved black lab Blue, his younger brother David and his wife Jody, and many nieces and nephews. Eddie was a devoted husband, father, friend and follower of the Lord. He had a lifelong passion for all things golf, ice hockey, gardening and spending time by the water. His shining smile and infectious kindness will be missed dearly by his family, many friends and community at the York Golf and Tennis Club.

Please join us in wishing him eternal peace and happiness. Calling hours will be held at the Lucas & Eaton Funeral Home on Thursday, February 27th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. A funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St. Christopher’s Catholic Church on Friday, February 28th at 11:00 am.
