Eileen M. (Trafton) Hanson

Eileen M. Hanson- 86, formerly of Hanscom Road in Eliot, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024 in the Cedar Healthcare Center in Portsmouth, NH where she had resided for the past 13+ years following a Stroke.

She was born in York, Maine on June 4, 1937 to Ernest and Gertrude (Heath) Trafton.

She graduated from York High School in 1955, and married Lloyd E. Hanson in 1956. She raised 5 children and worked as a real estate agent off and on over the years. She also worked as an LPN at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. 

She is survived by her husband Lloyd, her 4 daughters, Bonnie (Lenny), Sara (Billy), Trudy (Allan), and Amy (Joe), 5 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by her sister, Barbara, and her brother Ernest Lee (Pamela). She is predeceased by her parents, her son Gene, and her sisters Elizabeth and Evelyn.
