OGUNQUIT, Maine – Esselyn B. Boucher, 96, passed away Wednesday, February 13th, 2019 after a short illness. She was born June 13th, 1922 to Mabel A. (Fitzgerald) Ramsdell and Robert P. Ramsdell. She attended York schools. The oldest of five children, Esselyn was an accomplished musician serving as organist at several local churches including Ogunquit Methodist Church where she was also choir director for many years. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband of 34 years Edgar Boucher, and brothers Norman Ramsdell, Robert (Gordon) Ramsdell, and Neil Ramsdell. She is survived by a sister, Muriel Davis, sister-in-law Beverly Ramsdell, nephew Robert Ramsdell, nieces Nancy Ramsdell, Donna Ramsdell, Janice (Stuart) Mire, and Susan (Ted) Erkan, Virginia Davis, and Rebecca Roosevelt, great-nieces Keely Hermenau, and Olivia Erkan, great-nephew Jack Erkan, and great-great-niece Ellie Hager.
