Felicia G. Moulton (Ré), 95, of Kittery, Maine, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.
Felicia was born in Ilhavo, Portugal to Manuel Ré and Maria Ré (Matias) on November 13, 1925. At age five, she traveled with her parents to the United States, settling in Gloucester, Massachusetts. A graduate of Gloucester High School, she later met her husband, Dana W. Moulton, Jr., of York, Maine, whom she married in September of 1950. She worked as a house cleaner while raising her family, and in 1975, began working for York Hospital as a nurse’s aide. Later, she filled the role of patient billing specialist, where she worked until retiring in 2004, at the age of 78.
Shortly after her retirement, Felicia returned to York Hospital, working regularly as a volunteer, until 2016. She was a fan of the Boston Red Sox, and enjoyed attending games with her husband. Felicia was also an avid golfer, and was a member of the York Golf & Tennis Club until she reached nearly 90 years of age. She also enjoyed traveling with York’s Center for Active Living in her retirement, both around the country and abroad.
Felicia is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Maria Ré, both of Gloucester, Massachusetts, her husband, Dana W. Moulton, Jr., of York, Maine, her daughter, Denise (Moulton) Lemay, of York, Maine, and her brothers, Armando Ré of Gloucester, Massachusetts and Silverio Ré of Newton, Massachusetts.
Felicia is lovingly remembered by her son, Dana W. Moulton, III and his wife, Barbara (Hilton) Moulton of Kittery, Maine, and her grandson, Dana W. Moulton, IV, of York, Maine.
At her request, there will not be a memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor can be made to the York Center for Active Living or York Hospital.
