Gay Cornell Obituary

York, Maine- Gay Weaver Cornell, 95 of Witchtrot Road, passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 exactly 13 years to the day of her husband TenBroeck Cornell.

She was born May 6, 1926 in York, Maine a daughter of the late Henry P. and Gladys A. (Young) Weaver.

She graduated from Tufts University and worked as a Teacher for many years.

Gay and her husband Ten traveled to France many times and to Bermuda where they made lifelong friends.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Anne B. Cornell, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Her husband TenBroeck Cornell, a son Ward I. Cornell, a brother John Weaver and a sister Mary Parkhurst predeceased her.

Funeral services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the York Library.
