Helen E. (Boivin) Connolly

Kittery, Maine- Helen E. Connolly, 89, passed away Tuesday, September 6th, 2022.

 She was born July 16, 1933 in Saugus, Massachusetts to George A. Boivin, Jr. and

Georgianna (Gallant) Boivin. She is survived by her sisters, Janet and Carol both of Wakefield, MA

and her sister-in-law Jane Lyness Wall of Beverly, MA. Her other siblings Toddy,

George, Fred, Adeline, Allie, Eddie, Walter, Margie have passed on.

Helen married her high school sweetheart, William F. Connolly, in Lynn, MA

May 3, 1953. She attended Sacred Heart, St. Mary’s and Lynn Classical. She

was employed by Stonewall Kitchen, York, ME for 21 years and General

Electric Lynn, MA

Lived in Saugus, Lynn, and Chelmsford, MA; Manchester, NH; Cape Neddick

and Kittery, ME. A sewing enthusiast, enjoyed playing doubles tennis and

testing her luck with the one-arm bandit at Foxwood Casino.

Her children are Bill and Kathleen-Largo, Florida; Brian and Terri-Peoria,

Arizona; Brad and Dottie-Somersworth, NH; Barry and Michele-Manchester, NH; Julie

and Kevin Rosa-Manchester, NH and Jennifer and Lew Chamberlain-Eliot, Maine. Her

grandchildren are Danae, Amber, Darah, Brendan, Nathan, Sean, Matthew,

Maggie and Reid. Her great grandchildren are Devon, Amarah, Mikaylah

Luke, Selina and Mark.

Funeral Mass Monday, September 12, 2022 at 11:00 am at St. Christopher’s

Church, 4 Barrell Lane York, Maine. There will be no calling hours. Burial

service to be scheduled for a later date.

She has many, many dear friends that have supported her over the past six

months. Her family wishes them well. We would also like to thank the

nurses, doctors and staff of Portsmouth Hospital, Langdon Place and

Durgin Pines.
