Jeanne M. (Hayes) Bachelder

York Beach, Maine- Jeanne M. Bachelder, 89, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018 at home with her family by her side. She was born August 24, 1929 in Medford, MA a daughter of the late William F. and Genevieve (King) Hayes. She had worked  for the Internal Revenue Service for 20 yrs before retiring in 1991. She later worked for the York Region Chamber of Commerce. 

She leaves 2 sons, Kevin Bachelder and his wife Analuz of South Berwick, ME and James R. Bachelder and his wife Joyce of Tacoma, WA; 3 daughters, Donna M. Bachelder of York, ME, Karen A. Bachelder and her husband Walter of Wakefield, MA and Susan St. Martin and her husband Steve of Medford, OR; 2 brothers, Michael Hayes and his wife Lisa of Winthrop, MA and David Hayes and his wife Pat of Medford, MA;  2 sisters, Joanne Doucette and Lillian Miele of Haverhill, MA; 5 grandchildren, Hannah, Jaimee, Sean, Natalia and Elaine.

Calling hours will be held from 5 to 8pm on Thursday, Dec. 27th in the Lucas & Eaton Funeral Home, 91 Long Sands Rd., York, Maine with a funeral home service to be held at 11am on Friday, December 28th.
