Joel Levandowski of York, ME, formerly of Hooksett, NH, passed away on October 10th, 2025 at the age of 67.
Growing up in Derry, NH, he was a proud graduate of Pinkerton Academy, and went on to studies in higher education before finding a foothold in a long and successful career in finance. He spent a large portion of his career at Milton CAT, where he enjoyed the challenges the construction industry brought and the camaraderie built with his team.
He was a dedicated New England sports fan and loved watching games and keeping tabs on all of the teams. He loved supporting both his children on their sports teams just as much, and enjoyed the years bringing son Joel to practice and games in the MRYHA hockey league, where he was a long-time sponsor and committee member.
Always ready with a joke and a dry sense of humor, he loved his family and enjoyed making time to connect on the weekends. Whether around a camp fire or his patio fireplace, he loved to tell and hear stories. Despite living such an accomplished life, he was not one who enjoyed being the center of attention, but loved people-watching and connecting one-on-one. He and his wife Cindy enjoyed many trips to Key West, FL - one of his favorite places to people watch, though the front yard with a cigar in hand was just as good as Mallory Square at sunset.
Joel, loving husband, caring father, and accomplished professional, will be deeply missed. He leaves behind his wife Cynthia Levandowski (née Keefe), and his children Krysta Levandowski of Salem, MA and Joel D. Levandowski of Farmington, NH. He is predeceased by his parents Stanley and Jeanne Levandowski of Barefoot Bay, FL and sister Marilyn Warren of Plum Island, MA. He is survived by siblings Carolyn Leahy and her husband Richard of Newbury, MA, Michael Levandowski of Littleton, NH, Stanley Levandowski and wife Nancy of Land O’ Lakes, FL, Patricia McGuiness and her husband James of Winter Park, FL, Stephen Levandowski of Largo, FL, Kathleen McKechnie and her husband Todd of Wolfeboro, NH, and Maria Levandowski Moore and her husband Scott of Saint Charles, MI, and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends and colleagues.
