John F. Clyatt

Throughout my life I've been met with much praise on my work ethic and how I choose to speak and portray myself. I've been fortunate enough in my life to be inspired and taught by many who gave me those gifts.

With that said, few men have left an impact on me, fewer have become a role model, influence or father figure. One of the few was John Clyatt. Early memories of The Bright Spot in Los Angeles, discussing politics, statistics and philosophy; grade A dinners and stories to match. A large part of my youth and upbringing was nurtured by this man, his home was always open, no question.

Such a loss is irreplaceable.

We can only hope to match those that inspire us, upon their passing. Rest easy John, may your soul take solace, freed from the corporeal sight.
