Joyce A. (Lorandeau) Swenson

Joyce A. (Lorandeau) Swenson, 71, passed away on Thursday March 2, 2023. She was born on May 22,1951 in Gardner, Massachusetts a daughter of the late Norman L. and Doris A. (Legrand) Lorandeau Jr.

She was predeceased by her husband of 39 years, Jon A. Swenson in 2021.

She is survived by her brothers John A Lorandeau and his wife Florencia of El Paso, TX, and Paul H. Lorandeau and his wife Denise of York, ME; her sister Joan A. Szkil and her husband Bruce of Gardner, MA; nieces and nephews. 

She worked as a nurse for Worcester City Hospital, Athol Hospital, and York Hospital.

Later she had worked for Liz Claiborne, McDonalds in Kittery, and had her own sewing business. She was a member of St. Christopher’s Church in York.
