Kenneth Lee Dotson

York, ME - Kenneth Lee Dotson, 57, of York, ME went home to be with the Lord Jesus on Sunday, October, 22, 2023 after a brief battle with cancer. 

Kenny, as he was more commonly referred to by his loved ones, was born in Exeter, NH on May 5, 1966 to Ray and Shirley (Young) Dotson. He spent most of his life in Exeter, NH, but had been most recently residing in York, ME with his close friends, Beth and Butch. He was a jack of all trades, and very gifted at working with his hands. He was a meticulous carpenter, and left behind a legacy of work he was proud of. Kenny was fearless and always very protective of his loved ones. He lived each day in the moment. He was generous and loving, and made a lasting impact anywhere he went. 

Kenny is survived by his older brother, Terry and his wife Rose Dotson, as well as his younger sister Tina Dotson, all of Exeter, NH. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Melanie Webster, Sarah Dotson, Samantha Puckerin, Ray Dotson, Robert Spinney, Christopher Dotson, and Justin Dotson, as well as great nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Ray and Shirley Dotson, as well as his great niece, Natasha Pierce. 

A graveside service will take place on Friday, October 27th at 10am in the First Parish Cemetery, 180 York St, York, ME 03909.  Family and friends are welcome to attend.
