Linda Lee Michniewicz

Linda Lee Michniewicz, 81, of York, Maine, passed away on Friday August 11th. Linda was born July 26, 1942 to John and Marion Michniewicz in Winchendon, MA. She spent the majority of her life in Winchendon and was educated there. 

Later in life Linda moved up to York, ME. She spent many years there until she moved into a long term care facility in Saco, ME.

Linda was an avid Red Sox fan and knew everything there was to know about the team. She loved animals, and enjoyed sharing stories and hearing about her family's pets. She also loved to play cards, especially rummy and cribbage and taught her nieces, nephews, and great nieces how to play. They spent hours playing until they were equally matched, but Linda didn't care about winning. All she wanted was for everyone to have fun.

Linda is predeceased by her parents John and Marion Michniewicz.

She is survived by her brother David and wife Sandra, nephews David and John (Ellen), nieces Sarah (Jim) and Cheryl, and her great nieces and nephew, Emerson, Raigen, Larkin, Edie, and Tiller. 

Linda cared deeply about her family and made sure they knew she loved them. She was a kind soul, a caring sister and sister-in-law, a loving aunt, and will be dearly missed by her family.
