York Beach, Maine-Lucille Pridham, 86, daughter of Joseph and Olive (Perrault) Dion, died peacefully at Huntington Common in Kennebunk, Maine on January 19, 2021.
Lucy was born and raised in Kittery, Maine. She then settled in her home at York Beach where she lived for 50 years. Family gatherings at her home and the homes of other family members, as well as craft night with her girlfriends, were some of her happiest times.
She retired from the American Legion in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. She often said, “I went to help out one weekend and stayed there for 20 years”. She did enjoy her time there.
She was predeceased by her husband Bradley Pridham, sister Carmen Hamel, brother Robert Dion, and grandson Jasen Morin.
She is survived by her four children, Mike Morin and his wife Debbie of Dixfield, Maine, Arline Bragdon and her husband Edward(Skip) of Rome, Maine, Tina Desmarais of East Montpelier, Vermont, and Thomas Morin of Marietta, Georgia. She has five surviving sisters, Theresa Doss of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Alma Cressey of Kittery, Maine, Alice Allen of Guthrie, Oklahoma, Annette Holland of Belleview, Florida, and Linda Bowker and her husband Dennis of Marshfield, Maine. She has five grandchildren, Justin Rovnak, Jessica Graves, Jared Rovnak, Megan Hampshire, and Carie Rovnak, six great grandchildren, Autumn, Aliya, Dominic, Riley, Emerson, and Hadley, one great great grandchild Beau, and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 11am on Friday, April 30, 2021 at the First Parish Cemetery, 180 York Street, York, Maine.
