Marlene A. (Warren) Johnson

On Saturday, December 12, 2020, Marlene Johnson, loving wife and mother, passed away at the age of 72.

Marlene was born on October 2, 1948 in Westborough, MA to Milo LeRoy Warren and Dorothy Tappan Warren.  She graduated from Westborough High School in 1966, and later received an Associate’s Degree in Accounting from Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester, MA.  She raised a son and a daughter, Michael and Kathy.  In 1984, she married the love of her life, Jack Johnson, and moved to York, Maine.

Marlene was known for her quick, dry wit, and her infectious laugh.  She was an avid collector and dealer of Colonial-era antiques, and Steiff bears.  She enjoyed cooking, making home-made jams, and spending time with friends, family and her cats.

Marlene was predeceased by her father LeRoy, her mother Dorothy, and her brother Leroy Jr.  She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Jack; her son Michael O’Brien and his wife Lynn Szymanski of Rollinsford, NH; her daughter Kathy O’Brien and her partner Brad Garand of Biddeford, ME; her step-daughter Paige Johnson Oberg and her husband Carl Oberg of Sutton, MA; her step-daughter Allison Johnson Hall and her husband Stephen Hall of Westborough, MA; her step-son Ian Johnson and his wife Maureen Johnson of Westborough, MA; and her niece Lori “Annie” Warren of Melbourne, FL.
