Neva A. (McClintock) Wolfe

Kittery, Maine-Neva McClintock Wolfe was born on January 16, 1917 in Perkinsville, Indiana a daughter of the late William Henry Harrison "Harry" and Lola (Todd) McClintock. Lola passed away at childbirth and Neva's step-mother Carrie and her father raised Neva in their Perkinsville home.

Neva married Laile Wolfe in 1935. She lived in a house they built on their farm in Lapel, Indiana. Neva worked as a young professional as a secretary at Guide Lamp Corporation in Anderson and assisted her sister-in-law, Florence Wolfe in the floral business. Later she worked side by side with Laile helping on the farm of a little over 300 acres.

Their first child, Andrew passed away as a newborn infant. She is survived by her daughter Kyle Wolfe and her son-in-law, Martin Kolk.

Neva lived on the farm after Laile's death for several years and later moved to Indianapolis. She spent the last few years in Maine with her daughter.

Neva enjoyed a long and healthy life. She enjoyed bowling at which she excelled, flower arranging of which she was a Judge, ballroom dancing, travelling, and in her later years an avid interest in jigsaw puzzles.

Fond memories of my mother; whistling in the kitchen, her butterscotch pie, her sense of humor and many funny stories of our adventures traveling together in Europe, to name a few.

Funeral services will be private. Burial will take place in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel, Indiana.
