Patricia Dowd Obituary

Patricia C. Dowd, 80, of Dean Road and formerly Marlboro, MA passed away on July 13, 2024. She was born June 25,1944, in Lowell, MA, a daughter of the late Edward and Dorothy (Cain) Clowrey. She was married to her husband Thomas J. Dowd for 50 years before his passing in 2016. She is survived by 4 children: daughters, Deborah J. Romano and her husband Donald of North Andover, MA, Kelley A. Biedermann and her husband Glenn of Billerica, MA, Tracy L. McLaughlin and her husband James of Wilmington, MA; a son Thomas J. Dowd Jr. and his wife Jaime of Fort Mills SC. She is predeceased in death by her brother, Richard Clowery.  She will be missed dearly by her 8 grandchildren whom she adored, Alex, Kaylee, Julia, Angela, Katie, TJ, Ethan and Luke.

Pat and Tom retired to their Happy Place in York Maine. They loved taking drives along Long Sands Beach and looking at the ocean.  They attended daily mass followed by breakfast with all of their St Christopher’s friends. Pat loved her Tuesday lunch with the ladies, was an avid reader, enjoyed a good cup of Hot tea, a lobster roll with butter (never mayo!)  and always said yes to chocolate chip ice cream!  Miss Pat’s creative outlet was designing thoughtful and inspirational card/postcards which she sent out with love to those who needed it the most.  Painting was a hobby she started when she moved to York and her artwork is proudly displayed during every holiday.  Pat listened and loved with her whole heart. She was affectionally called “Queenie”, “Princess Pat”, “Miss Pat” & “SuperNana”

Pat was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a wonderful Nana, and a beloved friend to all that knew her. She will be forever loved and missed.
