Patricia A. (Hanus) Noonan

Patricia A. Noonan, 80, of Kittery, ME, passed away on May 20, 2024 after a long illness.

Patricia was born on November 29, 1944, to Frances and Joseph Hanus of Endicott NY. After graduating from high school in 1962, she went on to nursing school at Saint Joseph’s School of Nursing where she received her RN nursing degree. She practiced nursing in Elmira, NY, Los Angeles, CA, and in Rochester, NY.

In 1965, Patricia met Timothy M. Noonan in Elmira, NY. They married on November 28, 1970, and went on to have two children.

In 1985, Patricia started a payroll service in North Andover, MA and in the year 2000 sold her business to a major payroll service. In addition to her payroll service, she was her husband’s administrator for his financial consulting firm and served in that capacity for fifteen years.

Patricia was also well known in the art world where she painted many historical scenes in New England. She was highly skilled in oil painting, pen and ink, and watercolors.

Patricia is survived by her husband Timothy M. Noonan, a sister Barbara Page of New Smyrna Beach, FL, a brother Albert Hanus of Los Angeles, CA, a daughter Mary F. Sullivan of Lynn, MA, a son Patrick M. Noonan of North Andover, MA and three grandchildren, Joseph Noonan, Taylor Gaudet, and Danny Sullivan.
