Patricia Marie (Masci) Casey

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia M. Casey, who passed away peacefully on June 27, 2026, at the age of 66.

Many people knew her as Pat, but she also went by Peaches, Patti, and Trish. She grew up in Somerville, Massachusetts. She became a cosmetologist and business owner after high school. A vibrant and successful young woman, she later married, raised her family, and settled in her favorite place, York Beach, Maine.

Pat will be remembered for her kind heart, unmistakable laugh, and deep love for her family and pets. She lit up every room with her sharp wit and unforgettable one-liners. She found joy in gardening, cooking, spending time at the beach, watching her favorite comfort shows, listening to music, and dancing. A Motown and disco girl through and through, she never missed a chance to enjoy the music she loved.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose love and presence will be deeply missed.

Pat is survived by her husband, Robert S. Casey; her daughters, Megan E. Casey and Lindsey (Casey) Moran (Dan Moran), stepdaughters Caitlin (Casey) Gillis (John Gillis), Kerry M. Casey, and Courtney (Casey) Hockenbury (Brett Hockenbury); her cherished grandchildren; her beloved sister, Joanne Barrett; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

She was predeceased by her father, Henry Masci; her mother, Eileen Barry; and her stepson, John P. Casey.

In accordance with Pat’s wishes, no formal services will be held. Family and friends are encouraged to honor her memory by turning up some Motown or disco, sharing a laugh, and dancing in true Pat fashion.
