On Wednesday July 14, 2021, loving father of two, Paul Granger of South Berwick, ME passed away at the age of 73. Paul was born on March 28, 1948 in Worcester, MA to Rocheleau ‘Russ’ Granger and Katherine (George) Granger. He attended Assumption Preparatory School, Clark University, Suffolk Law School and had a distinguished career spanning over 30 years as an attorney in the greater Boston area.
Paul spent a great deal of time on the basketball court throughout his tenure at Assumption Prep and Clark and enthusiastically followed Boston sports throughout his life. His leisure time was often spent on the golf course or relaxing by the seaside at his family home in York Beach, ME. Whatever the activity, he was happiest enjoying it alongside his friends and family, the former of whom affectionately referred to him as "Tucker". Throughout his life, he could always be counted on for words of wisdom and as a calm and comforting presence. He will be missed greatly for these invaluable and increasingly rare qualities, among many others.
Paul was preceded in death by his brother John, nephew Joseph, parents Rocheleau ‘Russ’ and Katherine. He is survived by his daughter Lisa McWhorter and her husband Stanton, his son Mark Granger and his wife Kelsey, sister Nancy Granger, brother David Granger and his wife Joanne in addition to four loving grandchildren as well as one expected in September.
A Celebration of Life is being planned for a time next year. Burial will be private in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester, MA.
