Priscilla M. Richburg Obituary

Priscilla Marie (Coffin) Richburg went home to Jesus on June 3rd, 2023.  Born August 18th, 1929 to Marion (Horton) and Harry Coffin, she worked on the family farm as she completed her education and graduated from the West Canada Valley Central High School in June of 1948.

She met Ronald “Hank” Richburg in 1949 and they wed in April of 1950.  They moved to Hank’s hometown of Winchester, Ma., where their three sons, Russell, Larry, and Norman, were born and raised.  They enjoyed many road trips and camping adventures together.  Priscilla was an active member of the Second Congregational Church of Winchester, leading many fundraisers and women’s committees while managing the home.

Priscilla and Hank moved to Randolph, Vermont in 1991 and built their retirement home, from where they enjoyed traveling all over the country to visit friends and family.  Hank passed away in July of 2006. She continued to live in her home until moving to an assisted living facility in Dover, NH in April of 2021.

Always close to family, she leaves her three sons and their families: Russell and Kathy Richburg of Clyde, Texas; Larry and Ginny Richburg of York, Maine; and Norman and Betsy Richburg of Dover, NH.  She loved and was much loved by seven grandchildren: Bryan, Shelby, Sara, Kristina, Amy, Anna, and Andre, as well as three great grandchildren: Julia, Rilynn, and Amelia, and numerous nieces and nephews, and will be dearly missed by her sister, Leora Mills, of Fremont, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cornerstone VNA or the American Red Cross.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Lucas & Eaton Funeral Home in York, Maine.  A celebration of her life and remembrance service is planned for Saturday, August 12th, 11:00 a.m. at the First Parish Church in York, Maine.
