Richard Irving Webber III, 68, of Portsmouth, NH passed away on February 3rd after a long battle with MS.
Richard was born January 4, 1958 in MA to Carol Hardy and Richard Webber. He went to Portsmouth schools and was a long time resident. After marrying Sharon Geraci, they had 2 children (Alicia and Aaron Webber). When Aaron was born in 1980, he wrote in his baby book that one day he would have a painting business and call it Webber and Son. That day a baby and a business were born. Along with working and then retiring from the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, he continued as a subcontractor (Webber & Son). Later in life he did work at Walmart and McDonalds, where he met many wonderful people. In 1988 he married Ruby (Davis) Webber and remained by her side until his death.
Richard found great joy in throwing darts in several leagues, bowling, NASCAR, watching and going to wrestling matches, playing Santa at the annual toy drive & riding his motorcycle with his “buddy’s”. Spending time with his family and friends was his greatest joy in life and he lived to make people happy, even though he wouldn’t admit it (Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!).
Richard is survived by his wife Ruby Webber, his daughter Alicia Webber and partner Timothy Emery, 3 grandsons Jacob Wilcox (Toby Dog) Alexander Wilcox (Zues) & Gabriel Webber, 2 great granddaughters Ava Abbott and Autumn Yeager as well as adopted granddaughters Lindsey Abbott & MaKenzie Bouffard. His brothers Tom Webber and James Cummings and sisters Cheryl Beals, Susan Donovan, DeeDee Webber, Darlene Rowell and many nieces and nephews.
Richard was predeceased by his parents, his late wife Sharon Geraci, son Aaron Webber, and brother John Webber.
There will be a Celebration of Life on March 21st at The Moose in Kittery, 76 US Rt. 1 by-pass, Kittery, ME 03904.
