Robert (Bob) Erickson of York, ME passed away September 15, 2023 at the age of 78. Bob was born on October 12, 1944 to Frederick and Anna Erickson of Waltham, MA. He was a graduate of Waltham High School and UMass Boston.
Beloved husband of the late Mary Lou (Haley) Erickson. Devoted father of Rob Erickson and his wife Bernadette of Scituate, MA and Cathi Richie of Taylor, TX. Adored grandfather of Joshua Richie and Jacob Richie of Taylor TX. He is survived by cousins, a nephew and many nieces.
After working for Eastman Kodak and Pitney Bowes, Bob decided to follow his passion for carpentry. He was a master carpenter and his finish work was sought after in the Boston area. In 1995 Bob and Mary Lou bought a 1727 farmhouse in York, ME and used their talents to turn it into the successful Apple Blossom Bed and Breakfast.
Bob was a Red Sox fan and longtime season ticket holder. He loved playing cards with his buddies and Scituate
bowling nights. His annual golf trip to North Haven was a highlight of his summer. He was also a staunch supporter of the Democratic party and took great pride in canvassing for Hilary Clinton. Bob was also a huge fan of Classical music, Seinfeld, and the Sopranos.
