Robert N. Witham

York Beach, Maine-Robert N. Witham, 98 of Nubble Road, passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025 in York Hospital.

He was born October 31, 1926 in Dover, NH a son of the late Verne and Verna (Nelson) Witham.

He served in the United States Navy during World War II. He had worked as a School Teacher in Marshfield, MA and Portsmouth, NH for many years.

He also started Bob's Summer Beach Rentals in 1948. 

His wife of 60 years Nina A. (Krochmal) Witham passed in 2012. He leaves two sons, Bruce A. Witham  and his wife Nancy of Pacific Grove, CA and Scott V. Witham and his wife Mary Ellen of York, ME;

a daughter Martha Witham of Dover, NH; 3 grandchildren Alayna, Benjamin and Brady; a great-grandson Finn; nieces and nephews.

A daughter Ann V. Witham (April 30, 1986) and a sister Phyllis Hardenbrook predeceased him.
