Robert E. Butler, Jr , age 73, passed away at his home November 20, 2022.
Rob was born February 9, 1949, the oldest son of the late Robert Butler, Sr and Gertrude Butler.
He spent his life fulfilling many roles and impacting many people as a driver’s ed instructor, coach, teacher, guidance counselor, colleague, friend, dad, grandfather and loving husband. His motto was “Reach for the Stars” and led the way for many to reach their own stars.
Rob is survived by his wife, Delight Butler; son Calvin Butler and wife Kathy; son Lloyd Butler and wife Julie; daughter Carissa Quinlan and husband Liam; sister Wanda Avery; brother David Butler and wife Crystal; brother-in-law Karl Detscher and wife Marsa. He leaves behind 7 grandchildren whom he adored, Braden Butler, Brynn Butler, Robin Butler, Simon Butler, Marshall Quinlan, Preston Quinlan and Chase Quinlan; and many nieces and nephews.
