Robert V. Moulton, 90, son of Timothy F. and Laura (Winslow) Moulton, died peacefully at home on December 20, 2020.
Robert, a lifelong native of York attended the York schools, from which he graduated in 1949. After graduating he joined the U.S. Navy and served in the Korean War.
In 1951 he married his high school sweetheart; Katherine Gerry and they recently celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary.
Bob, as he was known by many, was a lineman for Central Maine Power for 35 years. He was also proud to be an active member of the York Volunteer Fire Department and St. Aspinquid Lodge.
One of his many pleasures was giving family and friends rides on his John Deere Tractor. Bob loved to be surrounded by family and friends and always had a song in his heart and a story to tell.
There were many happy times spent at their camp at Hancock Pond. Every morning by 6 a.m. you could see Bob on the lake fishing, in hopes of catching a new trophy for the wall. His was a life well lived and he will be sorely missed.
Robert was predeceased by his parents and three sisters; Ruth Lowell, Edith Colcord, and Lena Bright. His two sons; Gary V. Moulton and Timothy A. Moulton, wife Gail A. Moulton and his grandson Dustin W. Mracek.
He is survived by his wife Katherine; daughter Wendy, her husband William Mracek; daughter Roxine, her husband Robert Myshrall; ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 11am on Saturday, April 24, 2021 in the First Parish Cemetery, 180 York St., York, Maine.
